What We Do

Carpinteria Sin Fronteras serves immigrant families throughout Carpinteria and the greater Santa Barbara County region in partnership with many other local grass roots organizations.  It is both our great privilege and responsibility to serve our community. El pueblo unido jamás será vencido!

Emergency Assistance

Our emergency assistance program provides resources for families affected by immigration detentions, including coordinating rent and utility assistance, helping secure legal representation, replacing car keys left behind during arrests, finding temporary housing and connecting families with other local resources.

Neighborhood Patrols

Neighborhoods are patrolled seven days a week, beginning before sunrise, to monitor for immigration enforcement activity. Tips received through the organization’s hotline are verified before alerts are distributed to the community, and daily patrol reports are shared through social media.
