Despite the trauma, our community has demonstrated extraordinary resilience. The raids reminded us of the strength that exists within our community.<\/h5>\n<h2>\n\t\t\tCarpinteria Sin Fronteras Voluteers\t<\/h2>\n\t<ul>\n<li>Follow the law<\/li>\n<li>Are disgusted by violence<\/li>\n<li>Do not interfere with or obstruct law enforcement operations<\/li>\n<li>Defend the history of immigrants who built this country and the immigrants who continue to.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t<p>The Statue of Liberty (1886)<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,<br id=\"mwZA\" \/>With conquering limbs astride from land to land;<br id=\"mwZQ\" \/>Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand<br id=\"mwZg\" \/>A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame<br id=\"mwZw\" \/>Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name<br id=\"mwaA\" \/>Mother of Exiles.
